I thought about this for a long time, and I've always believed that no matter the outcome, I am upset with shelby. I understand that if what she's saying is correct, she deserves to feel upset, but there's a point where you need to let go. I've been in a situation where a partner of mine was very hurtful towards me, despite my wanting more respect, and after we broke up I was upset and angry for a while, I would vent sometimes but after a while I let it go. I never truly got over it completely, but there's a point and time where you need to let go of your wants from this person, everything you expected, everything you needed, you need to let that person go to heal. That includes letting them live their life, it's unfair to constantly target someone after you said what you needed or wanted to say, it's just vindictive and spiteful behavior and completely unacceptable. My ex was horribly mentally ill and narcissistic, I understood that as much as I wanted to villainize them, they were a person, just like me, and that even though I don't want to be around them, that doesn't mean I should make sure nobody else does either. Speak out, for sure. But especially if the ex was mentally unstable , don't actively do things to worsen their life, all that does is entwine this person you don't want to be around in your life more. If you want to tangle yourself in someone else's life you will get tangled in theirs.

honestly I’m taking Wilbur’s side. Shelby didn’t seem or sound sincere, she’s accused all her exes of abuse, she had her fans send death threats, doxxing nd other stuff and she was happy abt the awful things she was doing. Especially with her using the girl who accused gnf of sa but was found out a liar that tried changing her story 3 times as an example or excuse dunno the right word. Wilbur denied pysixhal abuse and he had bruises on his face and skin before, showing that she could have done it instead. Wilbur’s friends are also coming back and supporting him after they were on shelbys side which also shows that he’s not the problem.

Personally, I think they both have issues they need to sort out, and lack of full communication and understanding led to a situation like this. Will has talked a bit about his mental health in the past, and it wouldn't surprise me (or probably anyone else) if he has depression. We also learned from Shelby that she doesn't believe in depression, and she probably didn't fully understand what he was going through at the time. The biting by itself isn't enough for this (especially since it was consensual - something Shelby contradicted herself on and tried to gaslight people into believing she didn't); I believe that this could be a couple different situations: 1. She's over-exaggerating and maybe has a complete grudge against him somehow 2. He did unintentionally cause her pain and she didn't communicate fully or correctly (I wouldn't be surprised if he's not great with social cues either), which still wouldn't even qualify as abuse because it wasn't intentional Either way, he doesn't deserve all the hate he's getting and I hope that people can eventually move on from this (sorry this was so long)

Something I noticed after the allegations came out was multiple people were coming out with their stories, but one of them was about Tubbo. The allegation was proved a lie because there were many things the accuser didn’t think about, like the time and how Tubbo doesn’t have a license. I just thought it was weird how someone just randomly spoke/accused someone out of the blue. I’m proud most have been able to speak about their stories. You all are survivors and are cared about and loved.

Did shubbles ever mention that she told Wilbur it's hurting her and that she doesn't want to be bitten anymore? Did she ever take pictures of those bite spots after he had biten her? You know as evidence or something? Not to blame the victim but if she never did any of that than first how would Wilbur know that he needs to stop doing it and also it's not exactly abuse if you never set boundaries and tell the person to stop. I know people have affectionat nibbles but biting is probably too much. So if what Wilbur wrote mo ths ago is true then she is using this whole argument to ruin his reputation. For people who are against the removal, here's a story from someone who was comp banned. I got banned multiple times for cheating in the early early years that the comp banned was introduced, I essentially "served my time" and game back to the game for taking my punishment. As games were added to the list of comp bans, all of the sudden, YEARS after my bans, I was disallowed to play my main game, The Pit. Again, this is years after my punishments for cheating as an idiot youth. To be comp unbanned and then they just keep adding to the list of games you are unable to play is completely unfair. I'd also like to say that it's not like I was never able to play pit for my comp ban, in the time that I started pit and to the time I was determined disallowed to play, I never cheated.

Hot take: a lot of people on twitter and the internet are so desensitized to creators apologizing for what they did. But the reality of the matter is is that Wilbur ( and other creators) don’t have to apologize to twitter or the community, they need to apologize to the individuals they hurt. I don’t support what he did during their relationship ( remember that’s their relationship business, not there internets); however, I do support the fact he acknowledged what he had done wrong and took active steps to better himself and the situation. tl;dr - it’s not our business. It shouldn’t have been brought to the internet. The following is just my thoughts. --- I’m not saying Shelby’s wrong or that Wilbur isn’t guilty. Because, at the VERY least, he is to an extent. However, it’s (as many have said) a he said-she said. We can’t take either of their words to face value because of the severity of the situation. Do I think Wilbur’s response was dog shit? Yes. Do I think he’s guilty? Yes. But as for the specifics and small details, I’m staying neutral. I don’t know the guy personally. Therefore, I’m not going to judge his character, but rather his actions. What he did was a horrible thing. I had friends who bit me, but never hard or anything. It never bothered me because it didn’t hurt. However, I can see how it CAN hurt. With enough force and pressure, it’s very easy to break skin and genuinely injure someone through biting. I’ve had to resort to biting before in self defense. It can cause a lot of damage to a person. On the mental health part: Mental health isn’t an excuse, a fact in which I 100% agree with, but it CAN be a factor. There’s, imo, definitely an underlying issue here. I can’t say for certain, but it didn’t appear to be manipulation from what I’ve heard. It sounds like arrogance or a state of apathy/mania. As a person with BPD, I can say that a manic episode can really change someone’s behavior. It’s a struggle, but I take medication and I go to therapy (both of which have helped). I don’t know if Wilbur has bpd or anything, but that’s just what the certain time span and actions within said time reminded me of (but I digress). One thing I think is that Shelby should’ve first gone to Wilbur about it in private and try to see eye to eye first. Could it have been (on some far off chance) a misunderstanding? I personally think she shouldn’t have immediately gone to the internet without going to Wilbur first. I could be wrong, but it seemed like Wilbur didn’t know Shelby’s point of view upon her initial post/vod. Granted, is it important that the internet/people know who they’re supporting? Yes. However, there were a lot of ways that this could’ve been dealt with that would’ve been less messy. There are a lot of allegations going around and a lot of people putting out opinions and ideas that aren’t needed or helpful. This is a situation that’s really complicated because of its nature. Again, though, I think an initial one on one conversation could’ve helped avoid the blow up. I used to love Wilbur’s content and I used to love watching him and the others. However, as I’ve always made it a point to tell myself, all we see is what they WANT us to see. Another thing is that clearly the group wasn’t as close as any of us (or at least I) thought. (i.e. Tubbo having hardly ever spoken to the guy). It’s another unfortunate situation where someone isn’t all they’re cracked up to be. Imo, I think there’s a source of arrogance in this. However, we also have to keep in mind that none of us know the intimate details of anything. Almost all the information we have is from Shelby. This is my personal moral code, but I don’t think it’s right to 100% take one side of the story without hearing the other side too. I will reiterate. I 100% believe that Wilbur is guilty. I believe a lot of what Shelby is saying. However, I’m also fearful of the damage completely hating on someone without their side can do to a person. Granted, Wilbur’s the one choosing to not say more, but I digress. What he did was awful and disgusting. But I just have a gut feeling that there’s more to the story. (Also, something I read and wanted to touch on: I think it’s kind of weird that rather than taking a more legal approach or more official approach to the issue, Shelby went to the internet. Imo, that’s never a good idea and only causes a lot of drama. You’re literally bringing in millions of people’s opinions into a situation that’s, as of right now, still he said she said)

Finally someone with the right opinion. The issue at hand is that shubble was being hurt by the bite, of which is consensual. But in wilburs apology. (Which still sucks by the way) he says that he was surprised when this was the case. Along with no other evidence for either side, this leaves us with a situation of who says what, and taking either persons side ends up being fucking stupid. I dont support either of them until there is more context.
